Hi , I have a lot of problems with this drug. Poor memory, word recall, sentences come out backwards, anxiety as well as the obligatory hot flushes and bone aches. I've made several posts regarding the same type of thing if you want to have a look at them.
What I am doing at the moment is 3 months on and 3 weeks off. I have found that each time I take a break the side effects take a bit longer to kick in and are a bit less severe. Luckily it leaves my system quickly and I can get my brain back together within a week, have a couple of weeks of normality and then start it again.
Obviously this is not an ideal situation but I ran it past my oncologist and he says it's better than not taking it at all, which is what was going to happen if I couldn't get it under control.
I really find it difficult to decide whether or not it's worth continuing at times when there is no guarantee it's going to work.
