thanks for your kind words. It IS very difficult when diagnosed with secondaries. Please dont think for one minute, that I am saying 'we' are any worse off, or have any different emotions to those diagnosed with bc, but what we do know is that we wont be cured and the best we can hope for is to have treatments that will help extend our time. What really annoys me is when people try to offer their advice and say something like 'oh my friend had bc, she's CURED now, so dont worry, you will be OK!' I personally think 'silence is golden' - if you dont know what to say, then PLEASE say nothing!
Kepp up the good work with the support group, I'm sure you do a wonderful job.
