You're welcome my friend. Feel I should add just quickly that I was also having radiation to different parts of my body to control the bone pain and that might have contributed to the low white cell count as well, but as regards Xeloda working for me, it obviously is so yes, I'm hopeful that it will work for you also.
With respect to adding IV chemo to Xeloda, I hear that sometimes Xeloda can take two or three cycles (2 weeks on, 1 week off) to get working properly. Maybe you could ask your oncologist if it's a good idea to go straight onto combining medications or whether it may be better to do a couple of cycles more of Xeloda alone to see if it kicks in later?
Doesn't hurt to ask I guess.
