You're right, someone was looking after you on New Year's Eve - your husband, the wonderful MICA paramedics, the CCU staff and of course the cosmic. I know you were on FEC at the beginning, were you also on Herceptin as this drug can have major effects on the heart?
If you are afraid of being home alone, have you considered one of those monitoring systems where you wear a disc around your neck or wrist and press it when you need help? May give you peace of mind.
Sorry the New Year started so badly for you, it will get better especially as the hospital staff are aware of the problem. Bet you get treated with kid gloves when you have radiotherapy! This is a walk in the park compared to what you have been through with chemo, some tiredness and maybe some minor burns that can be easily treated.
