Half way mark
Well at the half way mark for Chemo. A very bumpy ride with the last one a major reaction to taxotere. Yuck! Slowly getting back to myself now but the old tummy thinks it's the end! Not long to Chris...
Thanks for writing Kay it's great to hear from someone who's been there. I travel around 1 1/2 hours for treatment and that's long enough. It was very scary at first not being close to the hospital as I thought I might need it. Luckily so far I haven't. It's an odd thing to go through this chemo. I am amazed at how out of control of my emotions are in the first week of having it, I'm all over the shop. I suppose it's taken me the 3rd time to fully let go and get help with my little boy. Thank goodness I have a great support group with my family.
Is it alright to ask you whether you are having hormone replacement therapy? You don't need to share anything with me if you don't want too, I completely understand, it's just that I'm trying to find anyone out there who has oestrogen and progesteren positive cancer who hasn't gone through menopause. It'll be a while yet till I have the Hormone replacement therapy but I'd like to get a bit more personal information about it.
Keep happy & healthy
