Hang in there it all grows back rather quickly. 

 Thanks Lyn, guess we are all different.  Anyway with winter coming we can wear some nice warm hats.

Think I'll ask again about the itch at the hospital tomorrow.

I have started taking turmeric so have decided to stop that in case that is causing the itch.  Also I purchased some long sleeve cotton tops from target today which may help.

Thanks Cate,good on you for making it outdoors with no wig or hat. I never take my little crocheted hats ever, even around the house! I do take it off in bed...??

Must admit have not missed shaving my legs.

I did colour my hair but as its come through white as white I have decided not to colour it again.

Thanks Nadine, guess at only six weeks since I've finished chemo I'm expecting too much. I must admit I'm over putting on my eyebrows every day, especially trying to get them matching. I've never had to do it before. Silly thing to get annoyed about considering what we have all gone through.  My hair is about 1cms now but very fine, before I had very thick hair. Also thank you for your feedback on Radiothreapy.

Thanks Brenda, can't say I have patted a mouse but I can imagine the feel. My hair is very soft and stands straight up....like I have just seen a mouse!   My colour has come through white. I did colour it but won't again.  Also thank you for all your interesting posts.

I've looked at the other stories and felt a bit jealous.  I didn't even start to grow hair until about 2months after completing chemo. At around the same time my eyebrows & eyelashes started to grow back. Now, nearly 8 months since finishing chemo, my hair is growing slowly, some areas 3-4cm long, some still only 2-3cm. I still haven't been to a hairdresser. 

I don't remember noticing any particular itch during radiotherapy except my arm, but i had just started wearing a compression sleeve, so put it down to that.

I finished 6 rounds of AC Chemo 22/03. I have a full covering of hair about 1cm long, maybe a fraction long, no visible scalp now. Its come back the same colour. I expected it to be quite grey but its not just a few here & there like it was before chemo. Not ready to go to work without my wig yet but I do go to parkrun on Saturdays without a beanie or my wig... Happy enough to be seen by my parkrunning buddies "ah la natural", I even let them touch it last Saturday...

I didn't totally lose my eyebrows they just thinned & I used pencil to create a fuller look. My eyelashes thinned as well but I was able to use mascara the whole time & not look weird.

I am having to start shaving my legs & armpits again now & will have to go for a bikini wax in a couple of weeks - not so happy about those things it was very convenient not having hair in those places!!!!

Hi Anne Marie. I was very surpassed at how quickly everything grows back after chemo. I finished chemo on 22 March. I was completely bald, no eyelashes and no eyebrows. I had light eyebrows by 6 April - enough to get them tinted. Full eyebrows by beginning of May. My eyelashes have grown back about half way - enough to use mascara. I now have about 1-1.5 cm of hair all over my head. I never cut the fine hairs as they just kept getting thicker day by day. It didn't take very long at all. I didn't get itchy with radiotherapy.
