Hair
I finished all of my treatment on 23rd November 2013. Over Xmas I was mostly bald with a bit of white fuzz on top of my head. My hair is not my hair! I used to have straight thick hair and what is on ...
I finished my four rounds of chemo about 18 months ago. My hair is now back to about the same length and style that it was before. However, it is not as thick as it used to be and it is still quite curly/frizzy, especially at the ends. I think it's starting to come through a bit straighter now. I use a straightener to smooth it out most days.
I think I may have worsened the frizziness of my hair with constant bleaching. I just felt so ugly being bald and having extremely short hair that I was desperate to try and look a little prettier so I've had blonde foils over and over again. But the result doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. My hair looks damaged and brassy. I kind of wish I had just let it grow back it's natural colour. I am on taxmofen too so maybe that's having an effect.. Good luck.
