Hair Regrowth

Just wandering if anyone who has had ray treatment for brain tumours can tell me how long before their hair grew back or if it didn't grow back at all. I've been told that sometimes it doesn't so was wandering how common that was. I had 15 treatments over the whole head.

    Thank you Kathy. I suppose I should know its always wait and see and different for everyone but some time frame is nice to have. Yes I am doing well. Thanks again Gaylene

    Hi Gaylene

    This is Kathy from the BCNA Policy Team. The advice we have is that hair usually grows back several months after brain radiotherapy. For some women it doesn't grow back, but this is rare.
