Hair loss
Hi, I'm new at this, I had my first chemo (doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide) on 1/3/17 and was wondering how long it will take before I start to lose my hair?
Mine started to fall out at day 16 but for a week or so before that it went dull and felt dead. When it started coming out it was clogging up the shower recess. It was distressing to see it come out in chunks. Hubby gave me a no.2 with the clippers after which i felt much better and I didn't notice it falling out after that.
I didn't feel comfortable with a wig so wore bandanas, scarves or chemo hats.
There are lots available online.
I found natural fibres the most comfortable against my scalp.
Just remember to moisturize your scalp once it is finally bare.
