Hair loss
Hi, I'm new at this, I had my first chemo (doxorubicin and cyclophosphamide) on 1/3/17 and was wondering how long it will take before I start to lose my hair?

Between day 14 to 17 after chemo you will start with a few hairs then suddenly massive shedding unless you used a cold cap. It's one of the hardest parts. When mine started rapid falling out I took control and had a hairdresser shave it. It was empowering to take control.
You'll find your scalp will get sore and itchy (like if you had it pulled up tight with hair clips in and let it down ) just before it starts to shed. Kath x
