Hair loss
Two weeks to the day from my first round of chemo and my hair has started to fall out.. while i knew it was coming it is still a bit of shock when you notice it.. just a question i have been wonderin...
Hi JJoy, seems we certainly are on the same schedule my second round of chemo is also next wednesday, have my check up with the oncologist that day as well, so at least it is just the one trip to the hospital, i am to have 6 rounds of chemo so next week i will be a third of the way through... not that i am counting or anything. Hair loss i am coming to terms with have to as i am seeing more of it every day, but still can't get my head around lossing my eye lashes, will then definately look like a cancer patient. My thoughts were all about the fact of getting over this thing and not so much about how i look, or so i thought until somebody said about the eyelash thing. Anyways i am not having to have nearly as many test as you and am still able to go to work (they have been gr8 during this whole thing). I work unti 2 each day and have been able to schedule most of my hospital appointments including the chemo for the afternoons, having said that after the treatment i intend taking 2 days off, last time i didn't need sick leave as it was easter and i had the 5 day break. Anyway would love to keep up with how you are going and maybe exchange some experiences.. good luck with all the tests and i will think of you next week when we both have that next round.. Sandy X
