I had my last chemo two weeks ago. I never went bald throughout chemo, just had little spikes. The first three rounds of FEC over 9 weeks saw my hair on my head continuing to grow. Then it went soft like a fuzzy duckling. With the docetaxel my eyebrows started to fall out, then eyelashes. On my second last treatment of docetaxel I noticed my hair falling out again on my pillow and bathroom floor. It was actually at a stage where dad remarked that it was growing back, if a somewhat receding hairline at the front. I've never been overly concerned about my hair ... I get it that some women worry. I've had some major side effects from chemo so more concerned that I'm breathing rather than what I look like. But docetaxel seems to be a bit of a bathplug! It would be ironic to go bald now! Cancer treatments ... the gift that keeps on giving ergh!☹
