Hair loss after chemo has finished
Hi, I finished chemo 4 weeks ago and have just had a double mastectomy with reconstruction on Tuesday but I seem to still be losing hair especially eyebrows and eyelashes. Has anyone experienced this?...
Wonderful! I'm 2.5 yrs post chemo now and its been a long road back, and only now am getting back to a good normal. I did though this year have a single mastectomy/diep flap recon in late feb and then late july the revision surgery which was massive too. So I think the best thing is to have no expectation as everyone else will expect you to be back to normal and quickly post chemo....ummm it doesnt work that way unfortunately. It takes time to heal and rebuild, so be super gentle and enjoy that well deserved rest over chrissy. x
