Hair Growth

Hi BCNA community. 

I dont update here alot as I have my own blog on FB where I tend to do most of my blogging. If your interested feel free to request to join.

Just wanted to update you all on my Hair. profile pic was taken the night i did the big shave may 2012. I finished Chemo Aug 2012 and radiation Xmas 2012. 

2013 brought new challenges and new dreams. hormone treatment and recovery. Started studying to become a allied health assistant, which has kept me VERY busy. Still had a few trips to hospital and a few unexplained illnesses. But I havent let it keep me down for long. Began a 'dream balloon' which is something I was told would help that after treatement depression. I put my dreams short term and long term on a cut out balloon design and achieved many of my dreams this past year. So I have started another one :-) 

This is my hairgrowth this yr! & the lovely lady sitting beside me is my amazing Mum. I would be lost without her!

    Thanks for your post. It will give a lot of us some much needed hope for the regrowth of our hair. You look lovely though in both pics. You have a beautiful smile. Your dream balloon sounds like a great idea and I am going to do one too. I hope you had a lovely Christmas Day with your family. Onwards and upwards for 2014. Love Janey xxx

    I luv your pics and that you wanted to share with us.

    As you know I follow your post and that I have been following your hair growth with interest.  It wasn't long ago you had concerns for your hair growth but doesn't look like you have any reason to be concerned now hun.

    I am not fully clear on your balloon idea but I would luv to know more about it as I need to set some dreams for myself this year if my ongoing treatment will let me!!!!!!!.  Congratulations on all that you have achieved, all that you have had to fight and to win and to your mum for bringing such a beautiful person in to the world.

    Lovely pics of you and your mum.Your hair has grown a lot.Sounds like you have achieved quite abit in 2013 despite trips to hospital and health issues - you are such a beautiful,amazing person.I love the balloon idea - keep em coming!Hope you are having a relaxing time with family and my best wishes to you for a healthy 2014 .     Your hair looks great.You look like a different person in your 2013 pic.I am a lot older than you,but I will be rapt if my hair looks half as good when it starts to grow back. Take care xoxo. Robyn
