Hair growth

@Sunshine0206, I never did, you  naughty girl....bugger me  my computer obviously is of  the opinion that the second one of me is just too plain baaaad, but I'll try again.

I had an almost full head of white hair grow back on taxol. Colour didn't return until after taxol finished then very gradual return of some colour. 

For some reason the second photo hasn't come up above, so here  it is.

Thanks @Afraser for the info. I haven’t minded the bald head. The growing out I’m not looking forward to. This is my son and me on Christmas Day. X

This was my hair prior to starting chemo and the other  photo was me in hospital after a fall in October, so nine months after finishing the AC. And nooooo, I'm not posting any photos of my pubes, either before  or after!!

Hi Sunshine, happy new year! My hair started growing while I was still on Taxol - yes, it's a pity about the leg and chin hair but it's a package! Don't be alarmed if it comes back a different colour and texture, it can take ages to settle down. Mine was chalk white and frizzy at first. Finally settled to have a bit more curl than I had originally but also a lot less grey. I also discovered, well over a year after it had grown back, that my "shed pattern" had changed, got alarmed by more hairs on my brush than I had before. It too settled (I took extra biotin to help). Main message is that your hair has had a hammering, it's still highly likely to all grow back, but settling to a colour, texture etc can take a while. Best wishes.

My billiard ball started growing a bit of fuzz after finishing AC chemo after about four weeks. My  head started to  feel a bit like rubbing velvet the wrong way....you know, that sort of brrrrttt brrrrrttt when I rubbed it. Prior  to that  it was completely hair free. Prior  to this whole shitfest, my head hair was 80% dark brown with silver "wings" at the temples. I sat on it and had never coloured, tinted, dyed or rinsed it. My pubes were the other way around 80% grey with the rest brown, (Blush blush). My head hair (a year later) is now about 5cm long and is about 90% silver with just a few dark ones here and there. I look like an exploding dandelion. My pubes have returned about 90% brown with the occasional white one here and there. Go figure.....

My oncologist said it’s very common for hair to start growing back on Taxol. 
All the best with it. My hair grew back in curls and then at the 3 year mark it has straightened out.  I’m sure your hair  will keep growing and get back to the way it was. I grew to love my curls and now miss them!
