Hair cooling caps to retain hair?

Hi flick. Sorry you have to be here but nice to meet you xx I finished chemo in march and looked into the cold caps. My onc recommended not to use them incase there were any nasty cells lurking near my scalp. Because your scalp is cold/frozen the chemo can't get there or work on the cells. So I shaved and wore my beautiful wig to work and went GI Jane at home :-) I have read many success stories about them though. Good luck with everything :-)
