Hair changing

Oh....and the non existent eyebrows? Thank goodness for eyebrow pencils - saves on waxing I suppose!

Just updated my profile pic too - curls have gone & feel like my hair is just about back to how it was. As well as curls, it came back really white (think poodle!) but has darkened a little to a light blond sort of!

Yes,my eyebrows never really grew again,but I wear glasses and they kind of hide them!!!!

I haven't been on the site for a very long time, nice to see a post from you.

I am 2 years post chemo and my hair is quite long, well its sits on my shoulders and it has a wiggle, not a curl and not straight. I have noticed that I lose quite a bit of hair I think its the Tamoxifen.

It has taken me some time to get back to normal and I am told that whilst we are on meds we will never feel completely normal.

Hi Robyn, looking good! I'm now over 2 and a half years down the track from the end of chemo and my straight hair is definitely back, though not nearly as thick as it once was. It is also slowly becoming lighter again as it came in very dark after chemo, which took a bit of getting used to as I'd been a "practising blonde" for many years! Still haven't got much in the way of eyebrows (again after having pretty thick ones) so I guess that won't change anytime soon - getting used to using eyebrow pencil which seems to fool most of the people most of the time :-) Best wishes, Jane xx
