Hi Al,
I got my hubby to clipper my hair off yesterday as my scalp was very itchy & sentitive and as I had very thick wave hair when I ran my fingers through it, it was litterally coming out in chunks so now I am doning all my scarves and hats I bought :-) feels really weird but it was bound to happen and it will grow back soon enough so I guess I can feel and look like a toad for a few months at least haha :-D I am not going to bother with a wig as my Mum had one when she was alive and it was so difficult to look after and there are very few hairdressers that will tackle a wig of any kind because they are just not trained for it unfortunately. Try to stay positive as you can :-) OH and if you can get it over in Perth Moo Goo scalp cream is excellent as is the shampoo & general moisturiser its excellent stuff, they use it in the dairies on the cows udders and it works wonders, I'm sure you should find it in you chemist or google it because it is great.
