got my radiation planning date yayyy

Seen my radiation oncologist today , he is such a lovely and knowledgeble doctor, and got my radiation ct planning date is on th 25 /10. Its wierd to by so happy about radiations? Well I quess not because that means that I move forward to the next stage of my treatment, got plenty of informations about the radiation and why I need to have 33 treatment and all makes sens. Lets just hope that all will go smooth without any complications , can hardly wait to get my treatment dates and then I can plan my weekend away  and then a week away at Gold Coast when all radiation are done . All of us deserve a holiday from alll this. That's all for now, thank you for listening , Monica

    Hi All

    Well i had my mapping done today in canberra and what a piece of cake . i now have 3 small tattoos and it did not hurt a bit. Well i start on the 3rd of november.That is my next hurdle and i should be finished by christmas. Anything has to be better than chemo, for those of you still going through chemo good luck, just remember you can do it and don't let it take control you take control.

    Will be happy when the mapping is done , then i am getting closer to the end of this. Anything has to be easier than chemo, even though  the radiation can burn. A friend also told me to take some facewashers , wet them keep them in the fridge and put them where you have had radiation to keep it cool, i'ii try anything!!
