Finished mine recently (5 weeks/25 sessions) on chest wall (post-mastectomy then chemo); my skin held up really well right up until the treatment finished. The radiation keep s working for another week or so after your treatment stops. I used only sorbolene cream and a burns cream they gave me. But when my skin eventually blistered and peeled it was pretty horrific, needed burns dressings and lots of panadol...
So just to reiterate: it's not over until a few weeks after your treatment ends!
Cheers everyone; my radioth team was awesome, and it was very easy treatment, in spite of my skin breaking down.
