  • Trying  to stay positive with all that BC journey brings. I count myself as one of the lucky onesbut that doesn't mean that I'm not scared. I have my moments.

Good luck to you and keep posting

  • Thanks Ann-Marie, good luck with the surgery. It is frustrating, scary, and a whole lot of other things, but just trying to get over one step at a time. Much love Penny xx
  • Thanks Alison, my tumors are grade 2 but had 4 lymph nodes out of the 12 weren't clear. I was just reading your posts and wanted to tell you you are amazing! Thanks again Much love Penny xx
  • "Got it all" - what great word to hear! The waiting is always difficult. I finished 6 rounds of chemo in August and am now waiting for my reconstruction surgery - just under 2 weeks to go. I was diagnosed in March this year and have had many periods of 'waiting' in this time. It can be really frustrating. Alison is right - it will be good to have a plan. Good luck with your treatment. • Hi Penny,

I found that the waiting was the hardest part. Putting on a brave face was the easy part. I too had relatively good news from my surgery but I was faced with 6 months of chemo followed by radio as mine was a grade 3 but with clear lymph nodes. I'm currently half way through my chemo having just started 12 weeks of another combo - treatement being weekly.

Good luck with your chemo. It will be good to have a plan, that's what I found.

Thinking of you as you embark on the BC journey with it's many ups and downs.

  • Surgeon called, got it all, no more surgery thank goodness. Now for a "bit of chemo" (my surgeons) words and radiotherapy. I will find out what that means on monday when I meet my oncologist. That's what cancer is I'm finding out quickly, waiting! At least now I'm feeling brave again.
