Good News!

Hi all,

Just thought I'd let you know I have the all clear! The ultrasound showed no suspicious lump but fatty tissue instead . They were very thorough. Scanned both breasts. The left one showed a 2mm cyst but nothing to worry about.  Phew!!  I can breathe again. Thanks to all of you for your kind wishes and positive vibes. I also saw my GP about the results of my menpause blood tests. All pointing to perimenopause. I was sure it was menopause. Haven't had a period for over 12months. Confused now!!?

Can't wait to finish herceptin and be over treatment for good!!

    Yep a true BC survivor! 2 more herceptins to go then life can resume but with a new found energy.

    Thanks Tonya!  Glad to have treatment behind me. We have a kitchen to renovate!! Can't afford to be sick! Too much to do.

    Thanks dear friend! Yes Phew!!!  Very relieved. Sorry to keep you hanging. My only problem at the moment is laryngitis!!!!  Haven't had this for years!! Not good being a teacher. It's not like I can sit behind a desk all day!!

    Hi Louise,

    I hope I can be of help to people. I'm generally a positive person and try and see the best in every situation .Thanks for you kind words. I too had AC. You may have read my blog/story. Similiar to yours but with clear margins no lymphs nodes involved. I found AC hard - 4 rounds was very taxing. Nausea but with no vomiting; mouth ulcers; very low neutrifils, fatigue and weight loss. You will get through. I know it's hard to believe now but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

    Take care and if you need any advice just blog away. More than happy to help. Thinking of you having been there myself.
