Hello Ladies,
All your comments are valid. Don't think that anything you say or feel is stupid. I had chemo last year - 6 cycles of TAC over 18 weeks. Hair loss with this cocktail is inevitable. Mine started coming out in clumps after 2 weeks then progressively more and more, everywhere! I had some long strands left on my head so ended up cutting them off. I bought a wig and wore it when I went out in public. It makes you look and feel more normal. People won't even know its a wig. Wiggy still gets worn a bit, my hair is coming back good now. Still only very short though nearly 4 months after I finished chemo.
I had nausea and uneasiness in tummy for the first week, then felt better, but what was more annoying was the dry mouth in week 2 and leaking eyes in week 3. This only started after the cycle 3 thankfully and now it is all a distant memory. I found ginger tablets helped settle my tummy along with the other pills the docs ordered. Maxolon made me too fatigued.
Good luck to you all, take care
Deb
