Hi @JoeyLiz. Hope you're feeling a bit better each day, and that the ooze has eased.
I didn't have either hookwire or blue dye, so can't comment on those.
Because I had my surgery as a private patient, 3&1/2 hours drive from home my surgeon kept me in until she had the results, in case reexcision was needed. Unfortunately it was! Ended in hospital for a week  :pensive:

I never had the blue....I was told about it but they only did radioactive not blue. Weirdly as my surgeon was expecting blue. 

Oh I'd forgotten the blue wee as well! It took a good three months to fade from the injection site. Hope you had a good night's sleep. A relief to have that over and done with. K xox

I'd forgotten the blue wee - it comes out blue at the other end, too if you're sick!  Glad to hear it went well.

but what a long day! 8:15am for the lymph node radioisotope injection, then 11am for the hookwire placement and surgery was at 3:45, got home at 9pm!
pains not too bad but a bit of oozing so gonna Call GP in the morning to see if I can get my dressing changed as it’s soaked though a bit.
oh and I didn’t expect my wee to be blue hahaha
