Good bye Drain (Fred)

Finally got the drain taken out late Thursday - freedom from Fred (what I named my drain). Feel such a lift from getting it out - but OUCH! did it hurt to get it out. It was the most pain I had experienced through all of this to date.

Always feel better when the last thing is taken out. And the simple joys of showering and sleeping without having to worry about where it is and that it isn't being pulled.

Healing and getting used to the new normal - been a few of those in the past few years! Christmas tree and decs up and hubby has put up outside lights - all the things we normally do around this time. Christmas cards out and ready to be written and sent - just our usual stuff. Great to get back to normal.
