Going home from hospital
Apologies if this appears twice - first try disappeared.
Surgeon has been to see me and given me my marching orders. Drains are out and I'm getting discharged from hospital. So, Step1 done (albeit, twice) and now I can look forward to meeting my oncologist in the next few weeks and finding out what other delights are in store for me. I'm a crap patient.

- Online groceries where we are but just had to do an emergency run! Unfortunately, no food deliveries (or local takeaways for that matter).
- @Sister I highly recommend getting online groceries delivered instead. Save your strength. Most can deliver the next day. Sign up for UberEats, Deliveroo or MenuLog as well. xo
- I was spoiled yesterday, @Zoffiel. My 12 yo made both lunch and tea. I suspect we might be back to normal today, though. And we need to go grocery shopping because there's nothing but baked beans in the house!
- We are all reluctant conscripts, @sister. Going home is good. Until you get there and have to organise your own lunch :)

- Hi there @Sister glad to read you are heading home rest up now. I’m a nurse and I’m a really crappy patient too! Keep us posted on your treatment plan whatever lies ahead for you rest assured you know you will be able to get on here and ask all your questions rant and rave and say what ever the fuck you want.
