Genox out of stock

Hi ladies, I can't get Genox at any pharmacy in Sydney- am told it's been out of stock for a month or so. I won't take the other brands cos they have something in them that gives me a facial rash a...

I'm really sorry to hear you are having so much difficulty finding a suitable brand of tamoxifen.  It is not a situation we like to hear about at all, and I am concerned that

Have you discussed this with your doctor or breast care nurse? There are a few different brands of tamoxifen, and some women have told us that they were able to find alternatives to Genox that did not cause adverse effects.  You may like to have a word with your doctor about suitable alternatives.  Your pharmacist may also have some ideas.  Perhaps even consider visiting a different pharmacy chain if you are in a position to.
