Genetic Test Results

Can anyone tell me a typical time frame for genetic test results? I was tested in mid Dec and haven't heard anything yet.

  • i had a comprehensive test done (including Circulating tumor cells) and waited between 3 - 4 weeks: My doctor used Genostics in NSW - the tests then get sent overseas. It cost $4,400 for the initial comprehensive test and then around $1,000 for follow up  circulating tumour cell counts. I understand that there is a chance that this testing will soon be able to be done in Australia (Victoria, i think)  which should bring the cost down. I hope so!!
