I had the test and it came back as negative but with the results to be interpreted with caution (they may have not found the mutation in the sample).
I decided to go ahead with the test because at the time the information was going to help me decide what I was going to do with regards to my reconstruction. My family were all supportive but I was 26 at diagnosis with no kids, and my younger brother doesn't have kids either so there really wasn't any family issues for us. Lucky I guess.
I guess there's no right or wrong thing to do - I would just make sure that you do what's right for you.
