Gawler Residential Program

I completed the 10 day residential program in April.

It was reassuring to know I had covered much of the material in the 18 months prior to attending, yet at the same time was certainly a major step for me in gaining more information and making decision on the direction to take in the future.

I loved the food presented at the Gawler Retreat and it was great just being able to relax and enjoy.

I was able to return home and find my sugar cravings had  mostly resolved. I have had a lot of success preparing the food however I find my family mostly dont enjoy the food I cook. That is an ongoing work in progress. My daughter is the best convert so far.

Juicing is something I have increased passion for but still dont always manage with prepaing them fresh. I can tell how much better they are when done fresh.

I came to understand the principals underlying meditation and fully embrace them however my family life and lifestyle makes it difficult to follow. Instead at this point on the road I chose to listen to my body if it shows signs of stress or fatique. I actively seek opportunities to get out in the sun , go for a walk or simply do something that is relaxing.

Power of the mind sessions were great and I continue to work on topics with a psychologist to enable my stess levels to be kept as low as possible.

I had live blood analysis done recently and the results showed significant improvement in the quality of the blood cells.

My CT results last week show stable liver tumors with 1 mm regression which is fabulous news for me. This result is an improvement over same time last year. My desire at this stage is to finish 2012 without need for further chemo.

I am pushing on with anything that assists in building my immune system.

I feel grateful for being able to experience this new level of wellness.

I am thankful for my relationship with Jesus which sustains me and allows me to experience an inner peace I would not otherwise experience.

I am also thankful for my husband and 2 children which give me abundant reasons to push on and keep on living in the Now.

  • Hi Celeste, Yes thankyou for your reply. You are right, flexibility yet keeping the priorities high on the list is a big challenge. It is certainly good to get positive results. Take Care Donna

Hi Anne-Maree, thank you for sharing your experience at the Gawler retreat. It sounds like it was very valuable and informative, which is great to hear. It sounds like the challenge may be continuing this lifestyle into your family life...something which may take time. Also, congratulations on the positive test results...woo-hoo, how exciting! You go girl! That's wonderful news. Take care, Celeste?
