I have been taking gabapentin for nerve pain since my bilateral masectomy just over two years ago and have never had any suicidal thoughts or any type of side effect. I take it with Effexor for the nerve pain. At one stage I was taking 2 x 300 mg tablets 3 times a day again with no issues.
I currently take only two tablets per day to control the little pain I have under my arms from my node clearances and to reduce those hot flushes
