Hi Dot, mine were little when I had my hysterectomy also. You wont be able to walk for a couple of weeks or so. So yes you will more than likely need help. Time to call in more helpers.... hope you have good support. My little boys school was great helping organise a roster for people to pick him up and drop him off . Best wishes Hilary x
