It went well today for my first radiation treatment. Mapping and making sure you are in the correct spot is what takes up most of the time. The actual radiotherapy itself took about 15 minutes, but overall I was there today for over an hour. Then a nurse comes to speak to you about possible side affects, creams to use, and answers questions that we may have. That took nearly another hour in another room. So tomorrow when I go in for my 2nd should be alot quicker I have been told.
So it's 1 down and 19 to go including a booster. !!! I will let you know how it all goes for me Marg and help you with advice when you begin to have radiotherapy too. How are you feeling after the 2nd chemo afew days ago? I hope all is going well.
Take Care
