Thanks Deanne, I have just put a wet washer in the fridge and will put it on my radiated area when I get home later today. Your post on lymphedema is very informative too. Lots of advice there too regarding the exercises. So thank you again. I saw my physio afew days ago at the hospital and she does alot of the lymphatic drainage atleast twice a week and she has shown me how todo the exercises too. But it's so much easier when someone else can massage you too I think. She was using a new piece of equipment that they are trialing and it's called the " moisture pen" or something like that. She puts it on various parts of the breast and takes a moisture reading, then after the lymphatic drainage massage, tests the same areas again and if the level of fluid decreases they know that the massaging is working. The deep breathing is very important too as you say, and that's how I begin my days. They have also told me that meditation is helpful too. All the best Deanne.
Take Care
