Hi Kathryn Sending you all the best wishes for your follow up surgery tomorrow. It gets a bit easier as the time goes by. My first surgery was 9 September and it seemed like a whirlwind few weeks with my whole life a fog up to then. I am now waiting to see to reconstructive plastic surgeon so we can plan mastectomy and reconstruction as none of my margins were clear after lumpectomy for extensive high grade DCIS.
The other important thing is not to be upset that you didn't rush to make the appointment because your actions were based on a biopsy that confirmed no cancer cells.
