Hi Kathryn. These first days can be overwhelming. Make sure you have someone with you at all your appointments. They'll take in different things, & probably more than you do.
Write down questions as you think of them, and take that list of questions to the appointment to ask. It's also worth asking if you can record the appointment, to listen back to - personal use only.
