Nice to hear from you and that you are still going well. I did find the phscyholgist helpful in terms of encouragement. He was impressed with how I am travelling so far and was impressed with what I am already doing to help myself. I think for me it will be good to see him as I need to to talk about things that I don't want to share with family that may make them more anxious. I need them to be strong for me and I need to be strong for them. Of course I will be honest and open with them about how I am feeling but if I find myself racing too far ahead worrying about the what if's I think it would be better for me to talk to him.
I had to see a psychologist about eight years ago when I was suffering from anxiety and it was very helpful. Since then I went on to study for my Diploma in Counselling from which I gained a lot of useful knowledge and techniques to draw on. So yes seeing a phsycholigist is very beneficial.
