First Chemo Tomorrow

Hi Girlies, first round of FEC tomorrow and I think I'm as prepared as I can be. Feel really strange, not particulary anxious but I'm just wondering how I will react as everyone is different. Amanda has had a dye job and will get cut after I shave my head. Sorry Amanda is my wig, thats what I call her as it was the name in the catalogue. :-)  Thinking of also buying a Katy Perry style wig for fun. Dressed up as her for my 30th and quite liked the blue wig.

Also will be wearing my signature ruby red lippie, ( war paint ) feel as though I'm going into battle. May seem silly but it cheers me up.

  • Keep up the battle thoughts. Remember that you are going to hit that cancer with very powerful weapons. The chemo is the best weapon you can use to destroy it. Hope you have minimal side effects! Drink plenty of fluids to flush everything through and remember you will feel better pretty quickly. Let us know how you go. Thinking of you. Deanne xxxooo
  • Good luck tomorrow beautiful girl,i will be thinking of you.  The unknown is worse than the actual doing and you will walk away tomorrow thinking yep I got through that and came out the other side so mark that one up for me.

My thoughts will be with you tomorrow and I will be sending you huge squeezy hugs.

  • Good luck for tomorrow. We will be thinking of you. Take all the medications they give you, as it is much easier to prevent nausea than to treat it. That's what my oncologist told me anyway, and I did as he suggested, and didn't have too many issues at all. Love Chris xx
