First chemo DONE!

Ok..... So its wasnt what I was expecting at all!

First stop to my oncologist to have my laproscopy holes checked and given the all clear. Met the nicest lady there that had just been given the all clear for her 6 monthly check up after going through all of this and she was so helpful! Showed me a short cut to walk through to the hospital, offered a few tips and gave me a big hug :)

It felt like going over all the info before we got started took longer than the actual treatment but then maybe that is beacuse everyone was so chatty and friendly the time just flew after my nerves left.

Another lady having her treatment told me about an up coming Look good feel better event here in Melbourne and it is on the day of my next chemo so should be able to go to that first if there are still spaces. Really happy she mentioned it!

I stayed the night at their request even though I felt fine, having had surgery on Friday and being my first it just seemed like a good idea.

No side effects as of yet but it hasnt been 24hrs so fingers crossed it stays that way!

Had THE WEIRDEST DREAMS EVER last night and I have always had weird dreams so for me that is really saying something. I was pretty much in a moving Salvador Dali world for 2 hours. Very cool :)
