yes my taste buds went nearly straight after chemo returning to normal just before you get your next chemo. we always had lunch out on pre chemo weekend, but did not waste the money on other weekends as it was a waste on me. so glad my mouth can get back to normal.
Make sure you rinse your mouth out with biotene or the bicarb they recommend so you don't (or try not to) get mouth ulcers. I got mouth ulcers first round and they were quite painful.
