First chemo done today!

Feeling proud of myself as got thru today smoothly after having the most anxious day and May tears yesterday .
I even managed the fold caps for the 3 half hrs so thee,s still a chance of kee...

Well done, karen. I, too, had my first chemo yesterday. Woke up this morning not knowing what to expect, took my anti-nausea medicine, went back to bed for a little more sleep and I don't feel bad at all. You're right, it's a bit daunting not knowing what's around the corner, one day at a time, deal with any effects as they arise. You are so fortunate you have great support, i would be lost without my partner, family and friends. And of course, the wonderful ladies on this network, they help in assuring that what you are feeling is not out of the ordinary. Take care,
