hi and welcome to the club nobody wants to be part of, but we are all glad its here, sorry to hear about your  results, we all know that feeling of doom the minute cancer is mentioned. blank mind and glad someone is there to listen to the doctors, and from that the decisions we have to make, not really knowing what we are dealing with. so first of all, have you registered on this site for the my journey kit, this is a great source of information in a language we all understand, and by women who have made the journey, also great resources for you family, friends and work colleagues.  Also you mentioned abotu lying with pillows, there is a group who make cushions, these are made with a shoulder strap, and soft silky material, and can be used after operations to help make things a big more comfortable, mines was from a group called Zonta, (Zonta cushion), and also on here you can order a berlie bra, which is made of cotton with no seams, and is specially made for women who are going through bc (this can be ordered through yoru breast care nurse if you have one, or someone from your surgery/hospital.  All these items are free and do help to make life a bit more bearable.  Although everything is scary, once we get started with treatment and by using this network site, although everybody journey is different, we have women on here who, like you are just starting the journey, through to others who have been clear for many years, so on here no question is stupid, and although we are not medical experts you can hear others experiences with different options and advice.
