Finished!

Last radiation treatment done! Going to indulge in some chocolate mud cake with friends and family this afternoon to celebrate. It's made with dark chocolate so it's not all bad and we have beautiful fresh berries to go with it! I can't believe I made it through without any major burns! I actually feel as well as I did before BC. No more chemo, no more radiation, just hormone therapy to sort out! Wishing you all a little bit of my happiness to brighten your day! :) Deanne xx

    I am so happy for you Deanne. I cannot wait till I can say that too. Have my radiation planning session next Wednesday 20th & hopefully start just after Christmas. Good luck with hormone therapy Stay well xxx

    Thank-you Michelle. I did enjoy the mud cake and it does feel good to have all the hard part behind me. I remember how daunting it was in the beginning but I can't believe how quickly it has all happened. I think this Christmas will be very special as I enjoy being with family and friends and feeling well again! Deanne xxx

    Well done you.You have sailed brilliantly through radiation.All the "biggies" are behind you now and I hope you thoroughly enjoyed your celebration cake.I'm sure you'll do just fine with the next drug -nothing is worse than chemo! Hope you stay feeling good.  Tonya xx

    Great news, Deanne - the biggest milestones are all behind you now!  You will be walking on air.  Enjoy that chocolate mudcake - you deserve every crumb!  So happy for you - Michelle xxx

    Thanks Janey. I have today and tomorrow to enjoy before it's back to the oncologist to find out what's next! Hope you are travelling ok, no more clots to contend with! Deanne xxx
