Finished 6 treatments of stereotactic radiosurgery to brain 3 weeks ago. Tiring driving to Alfred Hospital for treatment but the main thing is fatigue after its all done and the odd headache. Feel pretty good now just have to wait till early Jan for mri to see results. A bit of a wait but ok with that. Feeling positive about everything, only way to be really. Onwards and upwards !!
I'm glad to hear you have finished and hope the fatigue doesn't last too long.

My hair really hurt - much more so than it did with chemo - from the day after treatment finished until it finally started coming out maybe a week later. I have also lost most of my eyebrows and my eyelashes have thinned.
Fatigue didn't really kick in till maybe a week or 2 after treatment.

All the best to you both. I have just had my 7th of 10 WBRT treatments so nearly there. . It hasn't been too bad other than nausea, but gee I hate the mask. Just wondering how long it will be until my hair starts to fall out...I know it will be after treatment but not sure how long after. I had surgery first as the tumour was large and easily accessible so hopefully the rads are mopping up any residual nasties.
Chemo starts on Wed next week to try and get lung mets sorted AGAIN.
And on it goes....
