I have finished radiation! Yippee! But my skin is still pink and quite itchy at times. Zyrtec, an antihistamine, helps. At least the soreness has eased off....I am supposed to be back at work next week but not sure about that, very tired....
Anyway it is all over I think. I am operated on, radiated and basically fixed up. Now...to continue with wonderful life!
Hi Lyn, so pleased that you are finished. Don't overdo the work bit.....Leave time for our coffees!!! When do you go back to the doc to go on the pills? I am OK now, except for the occasional headaches and feelings of sickness. Others would never know I am different and the side-effects of the pills do wear off.

Good to hear that your treatment has finally finished. You may be tired for a while but things improve. I am finally feeling that I don't need to have rests during the day and have more energy. After all redness has gone, I can see a light mark where it has been treated - sort of like a light tan - don't think that is going to go away. Take it easy

thanks so much for the supportive comments Suz and Moria!! I am going to try to work 4 days this week - but from home. If I need to rest, I will....I plan on listening to my body. I am disappointed the skin isn't instantly better? It seems to take some time - but it is slowly improving. I am impatient.

Congratulations on the finishing of your radio, the area will be a bit tender for a while, and when i finished mine, i was tired for a few weeks, so if possible i wouldnt be rushing back to work, enjoy the time to relax and build yourself back up again, great to hear. and keep in touch, Regards Moira
