Deborah, you are very wise. I was diagnosed 2 years ago today, early stage, 1.1cm, non invasive, no chemo necessary. Quickly opted for a mastectomy and immediate implant because I am very small breasted (they implanted the other side at the same time) and I didn't want to go through the radiation treatment. The plastic surgeon screwed up, and I wish, wish, wish, I'd investigated it all more thoroughly and taken more time. I was frozen with fear, busy with work (self employed) and just wanted to get it all over with. So, the smartest thing you can do it take your time, if you can. Very best wishes, and good luck. Pam xx
