I have just read your 2 posts and want to thank you for sharing your story. Sometimes writing it all down just helps you to come to terms with it.
It is really scarey how many younger women are being diagnosed with BC. I thought I was too young to be in danger of it at 47 but there are so many much younger.
I am so glad that you have been so proactive in discovering and dealing with your DCIS. Hopefully you can soon be recovering from your surgery and resting more easy that you have removed any opportunity for BC to effect the rest of your life. It is wonderful that you will not need any further treatment and will be able to get on with your life.
Know that you have made the right decisions to ensure you can go on enjoying life with your lovely family. Take care and wishing you all the best for your surgery.
