Finally starting Chemo
Hi everyone, haven't been on this for a while - have still been reading a few blogs, though.
I've finally got a start date - this Friday. I have got 6 sessions of FEC. Hope I will get through it...

All the very best for your first treatment Friday. I had 3 FEC treatments before changing to Docetaxel for 3. As you know we are all so individual in both our treatments and reactions but take some heart from the fact I found the FEC very doable. The anti-nausea and vomiting medication (which I took as directed) worked for me and I didn't need to use the 'emergency supply'. Of course the hairloss, 3-4 weeks in, was a little challenging and I was getting a little more tired by the 3rd.
I think you have read lots of the blogs and so there are plenty of hints for how many of us have made the most of the little bumps along the way.
