Good on you for making such a tough couple of decisions. I didn't have a choice with the chemo, but I'm coping pretty well so far. I'm also concerned about the after affects of having chemo, but will have to worry about that later. As long as it's killing off all those cancer cells, it's worth it. I met a french woman last week & she shared with me her story about bc. She had a similar case to mine, grade 2 cancer & over 2cm long, but she chose to have both her breasts removed & reconstructed. She's happier now with her breast shape, size & perkiness than with her original breasts. Of' course she says they don't feel the same, but she doesn't have to worry about the cancer coming back in her breasts & her breasts look great. So there you go, one day you'll be telling someone the story of how you came to have such a lovely pair. Wendy xox
