Final herceptin
I am about to have my last Herceptin dose this Friday and am interested in sharing my experiences with other ladies who have had this drug.

Thank you Hilary for your response. I have asked my oncologist several times how to manage my aches and pains and his only response is paracetamol....taken regularly! which I do from time to time. I have taken note of the Endep and may ask about it if I can't get any relief for the toes. Wow I couldn't believe my eyes when I read where you say you don't have the strength to cope...thanks for putting that into words. I think that is what finds me in tears....the frustration of having to 'dig deep' day in...day out...to keep going. I'm not on any other medication and am thankful for that....so I'm looking forward to being able to go about my day without being reminded of this 'journey' with every movement. My left arm now has lympoedema and I should get the compression sleeve any day so hopefully that will give me some relief. I'm guessing it isn't going to be comfortable to wear but if it helps the heavy feeling...that will be something. When I look back on the past 12mths of Herceptin, the time has flown so I'm hoping for you that your time will go quickly...and smoothly and your days will be happier. Cheers Susan.
